    Looking at this chart, you can see that the average days on market for homes in Sevier county has dropped in the last 4 months from a high of 234 in December to the current 196 days.  This shows a positive demand, and the beginning of the turn from a “Buyers Market” to a “Sellers Market”.  Remember, there was very little new building over the last 5 years, so each sale that has occurred makes a difference.  Certain price ranges ($150K to $250K) represent the most competitive segment of the market right now, with the most closed sales.
